Shakespeare on the Canal - The Tempest

One of our favorite things to do in summer is sit out by the White River Canal and watch live Shakespeare!
This year's production was "The Tempest"!

To begin the evening, we arrived early so we could have free chairs and great seats!
This event always allows you to bring in picnics and wine, so we did that and more!
With Ashley's wedding less than two months away, we decided to bring the welcome packets to work on!
We folded maps, separated brochures, stamped M's and tied purple ribbons!  They are so beautiful!

Soon the sun was setting and the show was beginning!
This story with its ties to the sea and twisting love plots, was easy to love!

Comedic and tragic, this play had us enjoying the evening as enraptured spectators!

We had a great view of the stage and sipped wine all evening in the mild summer air!

Not only did we enjoy a night out, we accomplished a pretty amazing wedding project and drank wine!
There aren't too many evenings that could be more perfectly suited to us than that!

Great twin night!

Indy Film Fest Shorts 2014

The stress of wedding planning can really get you down!
So we decided to head to the 2014 Indy Film Fest Funny HAHA Shorts Program.

Held in one of the screening rooms at the Indianapolis Museum of Art,
we did have some good laughs watching four short films.

One of our favorites was 'What Cheer?', which amusing demonstrated grief.

Afterwards, we took time to enjoy the great weather under a scenic tree and discuss the films.
A beautiful day brought smiles to our faces and took our minds off wedding stress!

Another great twin night in the books!

Wine Jam Party!

Who said wedding favors were expensive?
They do not have to be when you make them yourself (with a little help from your bridesmaids)!

Ashley planned a beautiful Wine Jam Party for her favorite gals!

We all took a job preparing the jam, filling the jars, and cutting the fabric tops!
It was a great opportunity to meet one another and get to know each other before the big day!

Ashley also set out thank you candles for all the girls and a lovely food spread!
What a great hostess!

The wine theme prevailed even throughout the buffet!
Cheese spreads, crackers, dried fruit, cookies, and german chocolate cupcakes made up the spread!

All the favors turned out beautifully, and we cannot wait to try them!

The final photos show the finish product at Ashley's wedding!
What a gorgeous, handmade touch for everyone to enjoy!

Great twin day!

Zionsville Concert Series in the Park

The Annual Lincoln Park Concert Series is held in Zionsville every year!
A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services has sponsored certain concerts in the series for two years running!
On these special concert nights, A.R.N. can go to the concert, and pass out promotional items.

This year, we passed out small fans and bug spray with our logo!
Everyone seemed to enjoy the gifts as it was a warm July evening between many large trees!

Many Zionsville residents show up with chairs and picnics to enjoy the music and the outdoors!
The staff of A.R.N. dressed in their company polos for the event!

Ashley was gracious enough to tag along for the concert and take photos for A.R.N.!
Afterward, we went to Greek's Pizzeria for some dinner and stopped in to Hopwood Cellars for a glass of wine!
Zionsville is such a quaint community and it was nice to have a relaxing evening of music, pizza, wine and friends!

Great twin night!
