Beef & Boards Christmas!

We got to see the B&B Christmas Show!
It was two days before Christmas and all through town, it was the last day for holiday shows!

We headed in to our BOX seats and ordered a bottle of wine!
It was a spectacular feast!

The show had all our favorite numbers, and a few more!
We especially liked "I'll be home for Christmas"!
There was certainly a lot skimpier of outfits than we remembered, but we tried to not let that detract from our experience!

We felt like big shots at our private table!
Santa and the elves did selfies and the whole place was completely decked out!

It really put us in the holiday spirit!
Wonderful twin night!

Christmas 2015 at Gilbert Farms!

We celebrated Christmas at Gilbert Farms this year!
Mom was in town and we had piles and piles of presents!

The huge tree was completely covered in beautiful decorations!
The meal was perfect and the present opening went on and on!

Victor's first Christmas was so much fun!

It was nice to have the sisters, husbands, mom and kids around the tree.
We missed gran, but it was great to relax with our small family!

Great Christmas twin day!

A Christmas Story

Tonight we saw the live version of an Indiana classic, A Christmas Story!

First our foursome met up at Ralston's for some dinner.
We had never been here and it was right next door to the venue!

The food was excellent, and the Zombie Dust was flowing!
We had one of the best servers we've ever had and it was a great time!

Then we stepped next door to Theatre on the Square!
We were really happy that it was nearly a line by line remake of the movie!

The cast was really great and the unique sets helped make the Indiana home a reality!
All the beloved moments, "Fragile", "A+" and "soap poisoning" were all there!

We had a great time out at the theatre, enjoying good food and getting into the Christmas spirit!
Date night success!

Great twin night (no icicles fell off and hit us on our way out)!

Our 31st Birthday!

It's our BIRTHDAY!!
We turned 31 this year!
It has definitely been an interesting year and we have both grown so much!
We are taking steps down new paths and excited to see where they lead!

To start our birthday day, we opened gifts from one another!
Then we stopped into Sahm's on 116th Street for lunch!

Ashley got us these Happy Birthday wine glasses! They are basically the best thing ever!
They are absolutely perfect for us as a pair!  We are definitely going to use these every year!

We had sandwiches and BREADED MUSHROOMS for lunch! YUM!

Then we walked next door for some massages at Massage iNDY.

Ross paid for these great massages!
We probably won't ever go back there, but they were pretty good massages!

It was a great day to relax and just be together.
We were reminded that we do not have to do something over the top for our birthday,
we just like being together.

And...we enjoyed this spa splurge so much, it might just become our birthday thing!
We'll see!
Great twin birthday day!

BJ's Brewhouse!

Twin night at BJ's Brewhouse in Avon!

On a nice evening in November, we took it easy at a local Avon restaurant.
As we are learning, sometimes the low key evenings are all we really want...and more!

Ashley has loved this chain for a while as there has been one on the southside for years.
Now that one has sprung up in Avon, Emily finally got on board!

Half price wine night, we are so awesome!

And a pumpkin pizzookie, could this night be any better?

We split a spaghetti and homemade meatballs dinner leaving plenty of room for wine and pumpkin cookies!
We savored all of our perfect meal and took our time talking and enjoying the night!

Great twin night!

Miss Gulch Returns at TOTS

We went to Theatre on the Square to see Miss Gulch Returns!

On a rare Sunday twin night, we decided to use our TOTS ticket package to see a one-man-show.
We had never been to a one-man-show before, but we thought, "What the hell!"

The stage was set for a Wizard of Oz spin-off for the ages!
We have not laughed that hard in a long time!

We sat at a front row pub table, drank wine and listened to the hilarious rantings of a single lady!
It was a perfect afternoon!

After all the laughs, we walked across Mass Ave to Pizzology!
We had a white devil pizza (amazing!) and some heartfelt conversation.

Once we finished our meal, we went downstairs to the Libertine Liquor Bar.
Ashley knows one of the bartenders and we wanted to check it out!

Set in a brick basement, the place is really as secret of a speak easy as we have ever been to!
The artisan mixed drinks are hand crafted by the knowledgeable albeit hipster bartenders.

We both ordered the Hail Mary, and they were quite good!

It was a pleasant evening of laughs, warm chats, and new things!
All our favorite things!
Super twin night!

Cabaret Poe and St. Joseph's Brewery

We hit the town as a foursome for this spooky twin night!
It was great to do something Halloween-y together!

First we had dinner at St. Joseph Brewery and Public House!

This re-imagined church was the perfect backdrop for good beer, good wine and fun times!

After having a light meal and some drinks, we walked around the corner to Theatre on the Square.
Our favorite October pleasure, Cabaret Poe, relocated to this venue this year.

The new venue was great!
Although not as spooky as Irvington, it still had that feeling of being a member of a select audience!

We had fun singing along to our favorites on the way back to our vehicles!
"Here at Cabaret Poe!"

Great twin date night!

Wea Orchard Pumpkin Patch!

The annual pumpkin patch trip was a great one this year!
We decided to try a new location, Wea Orchard!

We packed up the boys (Jack, Victor, and G2) for the adventure!

We had a great time walking out to the patch!
Although a bit weedy, it was a great adventure!

The boys really seemed to enjoy it!
The pumpkins were REALLY reasonably priced, and they had a general store for apple butter and such.

The apple trees, tractor ride and sunny skies made it fun for all!

Afterward, we headed for some pumpkin ice cream!
What a perfect day!

New Day Meadery and Psychic!

On this mid-October eve, we headed to New Day Meadery!
There was to be a psychic doing readings and plenty of pumpkin drinks!

Margo the Giggling Guru was the psychic for the evening!

Picture
"Margo the Giggling Guru will be here! For $20 you'll get a 15 minute psychic reading and a glass of cider or mead of your choice. Get here early to secure your spot as readings are first come, first served.  Margo is down to earth, non judgemental and a positive person. Her readings are comfortable and fun!"

Our session was really fun!
She talked about us being Indigo Children and worked our Numerology and tarot cards!

Most of Ashley's reading was spot on, but Emily's reading was less accurate!
It was a really great time!

Then we headed to Red Lion Grog House for some good food and to chat about our readings!
Great twin night!

The Craft at Flix Brewhouse!

We started this festive October eve by visiting the World Market!
This place is full of pumpkin items, Halloween stuff and wine!!
With a few coupons and some reward $$, we got some frightful deals!

After our shopping, we walked next door to the newly opened Flix Brewhouse!
This was an amazing new movie theater that brews beer and serves food!

With its sleek styling and amazing menu, it quickly stole our hearts away from Studio Movie Grill!
The feature presentation for the evening was "The Craft"!

At just $5 a ticket, this was clearly a steal of a deal!
We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and had shrimp scampi and smoked salmon flatbreads!
All was delicious!

The comfortable seating, ingenious ordering, and world class menu made for a perfect evening!

We began to feel the spell, "I drink of my sisters and ask for myself..."
Something tells me our witchery has just begun this October!
