Holmes and Watson at Indiana Repertory Theatre

We checked out a new production at the IRT!
Emily's current obsession with all things Sherlock Holmes was fed perfectly by the show,
Holmes and Watson.

We decided to get dinner before the show at Loughmillers Pub downtown.
It is a British feeling spot where Ashley had fish-n-chips and Emily had the Pesto Bird sandwich (chicken breast with pesto spread, avocado and provolone).

We shared a bottle of Castle Rock Pinot Noir which seemed to be a perfect preparation for a show about an asylum on an isolated rocky island!

Ashley brought magnifying glass necklaces for us and they went perfectly with our tweed and plaid outfits of the night!  Although we were the only themed dressers, we were proud of our elementary choices.

The show was incredible!

Summoned to a remote asylum on a rocky island, Dr. Watson investigates three inmates who all claim to be the late master sleuth Sherlock Holmes. This eerie new puzzler by award-winning playwright Jeffrey Hatcher will stir your blood and tease your mind.

As with every show we have attended at the IRT, this was an amazing presentation!
Some of our favorite local actors took lead roles and yet there were still unexpected twists and turns!
We loved trying to solve this one!

Afterward, we talked on the lawn of the State Building for awhile before heading home.
Ryan Artzberger was of course our favorite and we continued remarking at his range and acting skill.

It was a perfect show to usher in the mystery and suspense of the fall season!
Great twin night!
