Natalie's John Deere Baby Shower!

Baby Gilbert's Baby Shower was a sophisticated John Deere luncheon!
The first sign that you had arrived at the Wea Rec Center was the welcoming wreath!

Once inside, guests were greeted with a guessing game!
When will baby Gilbert arrive?  Each guest could write their name on a pair of John Deere green feet!

Beyond the guessing game, the customized diaper cake invited guests to drop off diapers they had brought to enter into the raffle!

The country theme of mason jars and antique John Deere tractors was seen throughout the shower decorations!
The drink station consisted of three country beverage containers on a tiered tray, personalized with ribbon.
The individual pies from Zionsville's My Sugar Pie were also tied with handmade, "thank you" tags and coordinating ribbon.

The white table cloths were layered with burlap runners and finished off with handcrafted bouquets of yellow roses and white tulips!
Matching napkins and straws helped add color to the mason jar glasses and white dinner plates!

Ashley created this beautiful chalkboard art for the centerpiece of the gift area!
The themed bunting added a bit of branding to that area as well.

Emily made BABY frames to match the decor in the gift area and printed some tractor pics for the buffet.

The scene was set for a beautiful afternoon of homemade food and country style visiting!

The gift area was overflowing with amazing gifts!
Natalie's friends and family really "showered" her with love!

The yellow tablecloth and green chevron floor covering helped elevate the area to refined country!

Natalie took time to pose with each guest so we could add the pictures to her "Wishes for Baby" book!
As hosts, Ashley got us matching necklaces!  We couldn't be more excited to become aunts!

Grandma and mom also trekked all the way to the Wea Rec Center for this joyous occasion!

Each guest went home with a handmade tractor chocolate and a My Sugar Pie!
The kids and adults loved taking home sweets!

The classic games, color-coordinated and branded details, along with the homemade food made everyone feel that a simple country theme was just perfect!

The Wea Rec Center was truly transformed!
Although it was basically a 24 hour marathon to make it happen, all the subtle details made this shower feel like a gourmet affair!

Baby Gilbert is already so loved!  Cannot wait to meet him!
Great job and great twin day!

Music Video Shoot with Highland Reign!

On this sunny morning, we decided to be in a music video!
Highland Reign was shooting a video for one of their upcoming songs, and they needed some party girls!
Naturally, they thought of the vivacious twin Reigniacs!

We met up with the guys downtown and soon a taxi driver arrived.
After a few minutes of talking, we discovered we have even MORE in common with these guys!
Guess we are true fans if we weren't already!

To fit our party girl personas, we dressed in festive hats and used noisemakers and a couple of bottles of beer to sell the scene!

It was a really great time and the guys were really fun to work with!
You can see our music video debut at about 1:15 in the finished American Stranger video!

After the shoot, we headed to a wedding shower brunch for the Elsts family.
Ashley got to meet Annabelle and hang out with all the fun Schwindlers and Elsts!

What a great twin day!

Rock Out to Knock Out Cancer

Jennifer Williams, Emily's boss, was nominated to run for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Woman of the Year!
She put on a benefit at Aaron Ruben Nelson to raise funds for her campaign!

It was a fun night with Dave & Rae, free food and drinks!

Phil and Michelle Schwindler never miss a chance to dance!

Jennifer raised over $ 60,000 for Leukemia & Lymphoma over the course of her campaign!
Unfortunately, it wasn't quite enough to earn her the title of Woman of the Year, but we had fun!

Great twin night!

Race for the Cure 2014

Pink, Pray, Cure!
We joined up with Rachel Bohall's team again this year for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure!
We had a great time with the team and really enjoyed the event!

As usual, the race was packed with participants and survivors!
It is really great to see how much Indy really supports this cause!

There were a lot of activities the morning of the race, including free giveaways and booths.

We made pretty good time, but it was more about enjoying the time with friends and supporting a great cause!
It was a bit chilly, but once we starting walking the 5K, it was really a nice day!

Our team did a great job fundraising, and we are already looking forward to next year!
We stopped off at TGI Fridays for some lunch afterwards, and had some pink cocktails!

Great twin day!

IRISH WEEKEND!!! Greening & Shamrock Walk 2014

This year, we decided to take a different approach to St. Patrick's Day!
We rented room #301 in the Fountainview Inn for our weekend of activities and made Fountain Square our base!

Emily took a half day from work on Friday and we met up downtown for lunch at
Red Lion Grog House!
After some great food and a few ciders, we were ready to check into our hotel and head to the Greening!
We had a couple more ciders at the End of the Line before our room was ready.
This suite was perfect for our luxurious weekend!

Then we headed to the Indiana Historical Society for the Greening!
It was held in the late afternoon again this year.  Eunan was there and it was a great time!

After the greening, we headed back to the Fountain Square area.
We had dinner and drinks at Claddaugh before having another couple of drinks at
New Day Meadery and End of the Line!

We settled in for the night at our suite and enjoyed looking through a book of Irish landscapes!

Our room was festive and cozy!
We added special candles, napkins, food, and other details to make it more Irish!
It was really great to have a kitchen in our room!

We got up in the morning and had our classic lucky charms and irish coffee to prepare for the race!

We set up the crock pot in the room and headed toward downtown!

After the race, we came back to the Inn for corned beef and cabbage lunch!

We checked out of our hotel to head home and get ready for an Irish night out!
We split up, cleaned up, grabbed our men, and met back at Rathskeller's biergarten!

Don't mess with our Irish weekend!

We had a great time spending the days together!

Great twin weekend!

Cheiftains Concert

On this fine March evening, we headed to Carmel's Palladium to see the Cheiftains!
We arrived early to have Reuben sandwiches at the Basile Cafe inside the Palladium.

We carried our food to the Robert Adam Room because the Irish Arts Academy of Indianapolis was having a pre-concert showcase!
Also in that room, 2 Gingers was having a whiskey tasting and serving 2 Gingers cocktails!

After dinner, we picked up a couple of 2 Gingers cocktails and headed to our seats!

The Chieftains, from left, Matt Molloy, Paddy Maloney and Kevin Connett will play at the Palladium on March 6. (Submitted photo)

The show was fantastic!  The Cheiftains are always a great time with their step dancing, fiddle playing and crowd participation!

They even invited some Franklin College Students to perform on stage with them!
It is great how they incorporate local talent when they come to town!
It really got us in the mood for St. Patrick's Day!

The link below is an excerpt to the concert!

Great twin night!  Erin go bragh!
