Fat Tuesday was great this year!

Ashley picked up a splendid cinnamon King Cake from Goose the Market!

She stopped by A.R.N. with the beautiful cake, hot coffee and Valentine napkins! So perfect!

Ashley got the baby!

Ashley then spent the day with Natalie and Jack!

After work, we met back up and went to Borel's!

This authentic Mardi Gras place was a hidden gem!

We enjoyed some live music and a free Sun King tasting!

Next, we headed out to Georgia Reese's Southern Table and Bar!

The wine was great, but the po-boys stole the show!

Ashley had an alligator po-boy with fried okra, and Emily had an oyster po-boy with collard greens!

What an evening!  We hit all the highlights!

We really had some great food, great music, and generally a great time!

Laissez les bons temps rouler!

MLK Day with Gran!

We got to spend MLK Day with Gran!

Since Emily had the day off, we all headed up to see Gran!

We still had Christmas gifts for her and the kiddos were eager to give her some hugs!

We met at Natalie's and then the sisters and boys piled in her ride to trek to Watseka!

We picked up Monical's on the way and made it a lunch date!

The eligible bachelor, Victor, was loving all the snuggles!

Wild whobangee, Jack, was red-faced from all the playing!

He also enjoyed making Starbucks coffee for Aunt Ashley in his new kitchen!

Gran said she loved how the boys played in the living room!

We opened presents and tried to wear these kids out!

Afterwards, we headed back to Natalie's before going our separate ways.

It was a long day of travel, but so much more fun together!

Great sister/boys day!

Sisters at Flix Brewhouse!

This twin night was hilarious!

On a snowy evening in January, we headed to Flix Brewhouse in Carmel!

We stopped at the bar first to pick up a bottle of wine and chat up the bartender!

He is also a twin and gave us some free samples!  :)

Next, we settled into our theatre to see.....SISTERS!

This was an absolute perfect pick for us!

We had not laughed that hard for a LONG time!

It was inspirational, heart warming and laugh out loud funny!

We had an amazing time munching on steak tacos and knee slapping!

Great twin night!

Beef & Boards Christmas!

We got to see the B&B Christmas Show!

It was two days before Christmas and all through town, it was the last day for holiday shows!

We headed in to our BOX seats and ordered a bottle of wine!

It was a spectacular feast!

The show had all our favorite numbers, and a few more!

We especially liked "I'll be home for Christmas"!

There was certainly a lot skimpier of outfits than we remembered, but we tried to not let that detract from our experience!

We felt like big shots at our private table!

Santa and the elves did selfies and the whole place was completely decked out!

It really put us in the holiday spirit!

Wonderful twin night!

Christmas 2015 at Gilbert Farms!

We celebrated Christmas at Gilbert Farms this year!

Mom was in town and we had piles and piles of presents!

The huge tree was completely covered in beautiful decorations!

The meal was perfect and the present opening went on and on!

Victor's first Christmas was so much fun!

It was nice to have the sisters, husbands, mom and kids around the tree.

We missed gran, but it was great to relax with our small family!

A Christmas Story

Tonight we saw the live version of an Indiana classic, A Christmas Story!

First our foursome met up at Ralston's for some dinner.

We had never been here and it was right next door to the venue!

The food was excellent, and the Zombie Dust was flowing!

We had one of the best servers we've ever had and it was a great time!

Then we stepped next door to Theatre on the Square!

We were really happy that it was nearly a line by line remake of the movie!

The cast was really great and the unique sets helped make the Indiana home a reality!

All the beloved moments, "Fragile", "A+" and "soap poisoning" were all there!

We had a great time out at the theatre, enjoying good food and getting into the Christmas spirit!

Date night success!

Great twin night (no icicles fell off and hit us on our way out)!

Our 31st Birthday!

It's our BIRTHDAY!!

We turned 31 this year!

It has definitely been an interesting year and we have both grown so much!

We are taking steps down new paths and excited to see where they lead!

To start our birthday day, we opened gifts from one another!

Then we stopped into Sahm's on 116th Street for lunch!

 

Ashley got us these Happy Birthday wine glasses! They are basically the best thing ever!

They are absolutely perfect for us as a pair!  We are definitely going to use these every year!

We had sandwiches and BREADED MUSHROOMS for lunch! YUM!

Then we walked next door for some massages at Massage iNDY.

Ross paid for these great massages!

We probably won't ever go back there, but they were pretty good massages!

It was a great day to relax and just be together.

We were reminded that we do not have to do something over the top for our birthday,

we just like being together.

And...we enjoyed this spa splurge so much, it might just become our birthday thing!

We'll see!
