This year was the 20th annual Greening of the Canal!
We meet up with some Fancy Pants wine and headed outside to check it out!
The weather was beautiful and it was a good turn-out!
McCrackin was there to spread some Irish luck to every last Irishman!
It is safe to say, Victor has an interest in the wee people!
McCrackin always takes a few minutes to pose for pictures with his fans!
Little Victor was all decked out in his green fedora!
Of course it isn't St. Patrick's Day until you've heard Eunan McIntyre sing, "Galway Girl"!
Ashley got to find out first hand just how much people are drawn to baby Victor!
An old man gave this half dollar to the wee one! He searched for one with Victor's birth year on it!
Victor was all about it!
Ashley was looking great in her green sweater, and the anticipation for the greening was mounting!
We selected a spot on the bridge which overlooked everything!
It was a great vantage point to see the Gordon Pipers!
After the Irish Citizen of the year was announced and the new mayor had is say, the greening began!
It was a glimmering spire of green in the sunshine! What a perfect greening!
Victor's shamrock butt was too cute!
He got to meet Archbishop Tobin and Mayor Hogsett!
Afterwards, we sat on the hill and had an Irish picnic!
Ashley packed rotisserie chicken sandwiches, Irish caviar, rainbow fruit cups, and green goldfish!
What a festive feast!
Everything was decked out with clovers and pots'o'gold!
What a special addition to this annual tradition!
Great twin night!
