Devouring Dowtown... and then some!

We were able to have dinner on the rooftop patio at the "End of the Line" in historic Fountain Square. The name comes from Fountain Square's use as streetcar turnaround at the intersection of Virginia Avenue, Shelby, and Prospect Streets, beginning in 1864. For a long time, the neighborhood was known as "The End" by the locals.
Although the weather was hot, we enjoyed the downtown views and the delicious lineup they had for the Devour Downtown event beginning with their Fresh Baked Pretzel Sticks with Havarti dill & Stout beer cheese sauce appetizer! Sun King brews, fresh burgers, and summer breeze... who could ask for anything more?!?
We then proceeded to New Day Meadery to try their cider selections. We agree, the "South Cider" was worth the trip!
