Bison & Wine at Trader's Point

On this adventurous twin night, we decided to try some new things!

Ashley had a Groupon for Traders Point Winery, so we made this our first stop!

Located on the north side, this hidden tasting room had a lot to offer!

We got to try five wines in our flight, and then we got a bonus try!
The dry whites and reds were our go-to!  We liked the more aged reds!
We got souvenir glasses and $10 of a bottle of wine with the Groupon!

The decor was really festive, and they had TONS of wine!
We really liked some of their selections and were surprised by how much we enjoyed Manslave.
Since we are not port drinkers, this was definitely new territory for us!

Speaking of new territory, we headed to the Wild West for our next stop on the adventure!
All the way to Ted's Montana Grill!

This old-timey spot had all the charm of a 20's wagon trail stop!
The menu was full of bison options and the place was packed!

From floor to ceiling, this restaurant had all the right touches.

The menu was picture perfect simplicity with a touch of pony express.
The antiqued map paper added to the pioneering feel.

Of course we had to keep with the theme and order a bottle of Bison Ridge wine!
The complimentary pickled cucumbers were a nice homestyle touch!

More cucumber than pickle, this unexpected perk was summertime fresh with a bit of bite!

Once our bison burgers arrived, we were sure they were cooked to rare perfection!
Ashley had the mushroom/swiss and Emily had a BBQ, bacon, cheddar selection!

The burgers were excellent!
The fries and squash casserole left something to be desired, but you can win 'em all!

We looked over some homework for Ashley (a personality assessment to be exact)! It gave us a lot of laughs and made for a fun evening! What an adventurous twin night!
