Victor is ONE!
We all got together to celebrate his first year!
Victor's new classmates made him a handprint sign!
Just as the invitation promised, the day was full of trains!
His birthday cake was ready and so was this little train conductor!
The sundae bar was brimming with toppings and a cupcake train filled in the decor!
The cupcake train with graham cracker, KitKat and Oreo cars ran on a tape track!
Choo! Choo! Chocolate cupcakes coming through!
Toppings were candies, fruits, nuts and sauces!
The simple decor included a train of Victors!
Each car had a photo of Victor progressing through each month of his life!
Jack hopped on the motorized train and took it for a spin around the living room!
The boys loaded onto the Thomas the train motorized vehicle and were cruising around the track!
Jack was helping Victor with his new toy!
The high speed action was so much fun!
The boys are fast becoming best friends!
After all the train riding fun, Victor hopped into his birthday express for some cake!
He wasn't too eager to dig in!
Daddy gave him a taste of icing to get the ball rolling!
And Uncle Andy took a bite to show him how it is done!
He finally grabbed a handful of cake!
The sweet little conductor liked the icing best!
Some of the uncles hung out around the fire pit!
Victor just kept working on that cake!
Everyone was loving on the birthday boy!
Next Jack and Victor took some time to break in Victor's new water table!
They had a great time splashing and playing with all the water toys!
Then they moved on to the kiddie pool!
They had some deep conversations about swimming!
Victor really looks up to Jack!
He was glad Jack was there to show him how to play with his new toys!
There was some serious relaxing and playing going on!
Victor was showing off his almost walking kills!
Grandma and Grandpa sure do love that little guy!
Julia was decked out for the occasion! Looking cute and super snugly!
Next, the IPA tasting took place on the outdoor island!
There were three selection of IPAs to enjoy!
The family gathered around the island for a quick beer explanation!
Emily set up the beer tasting and everyone enjoyed a little adult time!
Julia took the opportunity to get a little shut eye!
Next, we all piled in the living room to see Victor open gifts!
Jack was ready to step in and help if cousin Victor needed it!
The family surrounded Victor as he peeled back the paper from each present!
He was so excited to unwrap everything and ride on his train!
He got so many amazing gifts!
Victor was on stimulus overload by the end!
Jack was ready to take a nap so aunt Emily snuggled him all the way to the car!
Uncle Andy tried to bond with Victor and get him past his beard-phobia!
Uncle Ross played with Victor and gave fish kisses!
Julia was mesmerized by the real fish in the house!
Everyone was exhausted after the fun events of the day!
It was so great to have family surrounding Victor on his very first birthday!
Great twin day!
